How to Build a Network! (Part 1)

Steps to Follow When Building a Successful Network

1.The Why?
Do not mention anything about the business or the product, do not give the prospect any information, not your link, not the website until you have found out his WHY?
Why is he interested in looking at this opportunity?
Get the detail. The person´s hot button or emotional reason for getting involved:
Is a family member in hospital and he needs to make cash for Medical expenses?
Is he oe she just looking to create a life-time residual income so they can spend quality time with others.
Is his partner laid off with no work?
Has he been affected by the downturn in the economy?
Is it because he is devoted to saving pets lives ?
Do not waist your time talking to some-one about the business if you do not have this information.

2.How many hours a week can they dedicate to Pet Protector business?
If the prospect cannot devote at least one hour a day or 7 hours a week tell them to forget it!
No commitment no gain. Their business will not be successful if they cannot commit their time and energy. They will just waist your time and their money and probably ending up blaming you!

3.Ask them to read and re-read all the information on the Pet Protector website.
Especially the compensation plan.
How can you build a network if you can´t explain how you get paid?!!!
If some-one does not do this, they will waist your time again and again asking you silly questions that they should, already know the answer to.
If they cannot, or will not read all the information on the website about the product (we only have one!!!)  and the business, they are not serious and you should ask them to leave your business!

4.Ask your prospect to add you as a friend on both Skype and Facebook and any other social media you may be using. This business is about word of mouth expansion.
If you cannot communicate with him or her and all your other team members, they are out of the business, or will be, within a short period of time. And yes, of course they will blame you!

5. You can´t please all the people all the time!
Don´t waist your time speaking to negative people. It will drain your energy and you may win the war, but   lose the battle.
Pet Protector  is unique and has no competition!
If some-one does not have the initiative to see that, it is unlikely they will be successful in any business.
So you don´t want them in your team anyway.
Politely say thank you, and move on.

Here is a good article  by my friend Ron Patey about what to do when a prospect joins your team:

Here is a blog I did about the Pet Protector compensation plan with all the levels of entry, commissions, ceilings, bonuses etc.
If you are in this business, you should know this backwards.
